Welcome to the RSPCA Animal Home Burton-on-Trent Branch

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our supporters.

Lets hope that the New Year brings more successful adoptions and a reduction in the number of animals having to come in to care. In the New Year we will be continuing with our welfare programme of help, having spent a record £28,000 helping memebers of the public get veterinary treatment on a wide variety of ailments.

Your support really makes this happen. So please keep supporting a good cause and THANK YOU ALL AGAIN.

We will be closed this festive break for rehoming from 4pm on Friday the 23rd of December, until 1pm on the 2nd of January 2017. We will still be at the centre over the Christmas period for emergencies and for advice. We look forward to seeing you when we get back to normal on the 2nd.

Until then have a good Christmas!

The Animal Home is open 1 - 4pm every day (except Tuesdays)
From April 2016, it will be the law that your dog is microchipped - We provide a microchipping service for only £10 per animal!
To book an appointment, please call us on 01283 569165 or pop into the centre!

Your animal centre in Stretton is a vital hub for animal welfare, caring for and rehoming abandoned and unwanted animals from across Staffordshire.  We provide care, time, warmth and shelter to all our animals, and work hard to find them loving permanent homes.  We do not profit from animal adoptions.

We are responsible for raising money locally to keep the doors to the Animal Centre open, so we rely on donations and volunteers.  We make every penny count in this challenging work, which means we never compromise on any animal's welfare.

We will never put an animal to sleep unless a vet advises that the animal is suffering unnecessarily, or an animal behaviourist advises that rehoming would put the public at risk.

Looking for new homes for our dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and other small animals is a process which involves matching a potential new home to the needs of each animal.  All animals ready for adoption are on this site. It is updated daily, and you can register for notifications to ensure you see new animals as they are added.

Please take a look at the 'Support Us' page to find out how you can help us.  Our running costs are over £5000 per week and although affiliated to the national RSPCA, we are not directly funded by them.

We are a separately registered branch of the RSPCA and are responsible for raising all of our own funds.
